Selfportrait with hands on chest 1910 Egon Schiele

Welcome to my corner of the art world.

This site grew out of a long-standing passion for Egon Schiele, Gustav Klimt, and the world around them. For years I shared this fascination in a lively Facebook group, until that chapter ended in august 2025. What remained was the wish to continue independently — and to build a place where the work, the context, and the discoveries could live without interruption.

Here I bring together everything I’ve studied, collected, and explored: Schiele, Klimt, the Vienna Secession, related movements, and the artists who shaped and were shaped by that moment in time. The archive is still growing, and new material will continue to appear as research develops. I work carefully with sources, and I’m grateful for the insights and contributions that occasionally come from families, researchers, and people connected to the museum world.

This space is for anyone who finds beauty in clear lines, golden dreams, and the raw truths that art can reveal. You’re welcome to read, explore, and return whenever you like.
